Recently, I sauntered my way out to Stanthorpe on the Granite Belt to photograph the stunning Grovely House Bed and Breakfast. I have to say, not only was the food decadence itself (7% ginger beer with goats cheese in ash was a serious highlight) but the views backing onto Girraween National Park were glorious (complete with grazing roos on the edge of the property).
Heading down friday night, I was treated to the hospitality of the house, curry, wild rice and wine for dinner, an incredible breakfast of very large proportions and all sorts of decadent snacks throughout. I even got the chance to help make (and take home) some peach and vanilla jam.
Many thanks to the great hospitality of Stephen and Faith, I had a great time and would love to head out again in the future. Their website is embedded in this post for anyone interested in a weekend away.
Here are a handful of images I took around the property.
